We are experienced in all aspects of stonework. We construct cultured stone veneers, real stone veneers, stone retaining walls and stone bulkheads. We have also incorporated our concrete coping to cap or finish off retaining walls and steps. The use of steel and three dimensional reinforcement make these structures much more durable and structurally sound than the typical stone wall. By capping a small retaining wall, it can even function as a seating area. This application is particularly popular in around pool areas, as well as around patios.
Most of our stonework has been involved with the renovation of entrance ways. Whether on the vertical risers on steps or accent areas around doorways, the look of stone can increase the character of that space. In most of these cases the stone is used in conjunction with stamped and colored concrete to completely transform the area. This concept has become very popular in situations where we are resurfacing an existing set of steps or porch entry way. You can see examples of this in our portfolio under the “Concrete Resurfacing” section.
Perhaps the most versatile aspect of our stonework is vertical concrete. We have the ability to carve customized stone shapes and looks into concrete to give the appearance of stone walls or rock formations. This is especially versatile when in comes to dive rocks or areas around swimming pools. We have utilized this process on many of our firepits, seatwalls, dive rocks, and man caves.
With an unlimited color pallet to choose from for the concrete, we have the ability to compliment the color of the chosen stone very nicely.
